The raft and the shore….. 2017

 It was a name I never bothered to talk about,

It was a dream I never dreamt,

It’s in a place I only saw on the map

And it is a journey I wasn’t prepared to venture

 

Life seldom strikes a blow at your dreams

There comes a time when you have to let go

And embark on a journey without destination,

Walk without knowing your path

 

It is the road I have taken three years back

And I am still travelling without the sight of my destination

It is the place that has chosen me

When I had no choice to choose


The test of Life can be harsh at times only to be fair

It’s as simple as fire testing the true spirit of iron

Not knowing the unknown can be a jeopardy

But now I know, the secret of life is to-breathe

 

I have paved my own path in the three years journey

The place has groomed me well enough

And taught me that the greatest victory you can ever savor

Is by growing at every stage of your life

 

But now it is a name that resonate in my heart

It is a dream I live for those who dreamt to be here

The place is a home that I will miss from any corner of the world

And it is a road that I will never regret for taking

 

I cannot see the shore

But the raft is here

And the raft gives me hope

To find the shore and to dream again.

Reviewing Chaychay's tree house

If you haven’t watched the TV programme “Chaychay’s tree house” I would recommend everyone to watch it. But before that, a little piece of advice from me – Do not judge the show by its title, just like I did. Hahahah… Initially, when I heard about this program, the first thing which struck me was that it must be a show for kids. Guess what, I was partially right because I found the particular show relevant for adults too. The show teaches us about the importance of asking questions. The show stars two young girls, Chachay and Chungku who are inquisitive and ask a lot of questions. The show also stars uncle KD who always comes to the rescue of the two girls and answers their questions. It is evident from the show that the first step to learning is asking question. An interesting thing about Chaychay’s tree house is the way learning turns into a fun activity with the combination of games and songs which are in sync with a particular concept.   A fast typing speed for sure saves a lot of time when it comes to working on an assignment which requires typing. But how many of us have worked on improving our typing speed?
