Not a single bone in the body broke
Not a tiny cut did
the body suffer
Did not cry the
loudest
Yet experienced
the worst pain
No words could
match the emotions
No explanation
could hit the Bulls eye
Unknown to the people
nearby
Silent tears spoke
thousand words
Only the created
knows the value of his creator
No force can break
that bond
But time did its
job, it consumed
And silent tears
spoke thousand words
No wealth could
repay the debt
No wealth could
buy the togetherness
When harsh truth
hit the soul
Silent tears spoke
thousand words
A load of
gratitude, a bit of misery
Heart full of
love, a bit of regret
I stood as the
witness
When silent tears
spoke thousand words
First and last photo with my paternal Grandpa and Grandma. Also the first and last meeting.
Note - Written during the demise of my Grandma when I saw extreme sadness in his son. It was only around nine months since Grandma left us. Both of them were in their eighties.
